1 Is the exhibition open to both trade visitors and the public?

MumbaiWood is primarily a business-to-business trade exhibition for woodworking professionals to source machinery, technologies, products, and services.

The exhibition is open to trade and business visitors only. For security and safety reasons, the public and minors under the age of 18 will not be allowed admission. The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry without being required to give reasons.

2 Is the exhibition free to attend?

MumbaiWood is free to attend for all trade visitors.

3 How to reach the venue?

How to get to the exhibition ground

By Air

Domestic Airport: It takes 20 minutes to travel from Mumbai Domestic Airport - Terminal 1 to BEC. The approximate driving distance between Nesco and Mumbai Domestic Airport is 7 kms. or 4.3 miles or 3.8 nautical miles.

International Airport: It takes 14 minutes to travel from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport - Terminal 2 to BEC. The approximate driving distance between Sahar International Airport and BEC is 12 kms. or 7.5 miles or 6.5 nautical miles

The best means of transportation would be a pre-paid taxi service from the airport available at the airport.

By Metro

The nearest metro station to reach the Bombay Exhibition Center is Goregaon West Metro Station which is situated on the Western Suburban Line. and the nearby Railway Station is Ram Mandir. Both Goregaon West Metro Station and Ram Mandir Railway Station are walkable to Goregoan Exhibition Center. The Metro is well-connected to Western Express Highway Metro Station from where you can connect to Ghatkopar and other railway lines viz Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus railway station (CST), Dadar etc.

By Train

The nearest local railway station to reach Bombay Exhibition Center is Ram Mandir Road and Goregaon Railway Stations which are situated on the Western Suburban Line. Both the stations are well connected to the other railway lines viz. Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus railway station (CST), Bandra, Churchgate and Virar.

By Cab / Auto

Bombay Exhibition Center is situated along the Western Express Highway (service road). It takes 6 minutes to travel from Goregaon Railway Station to BEC, which is easily accessible by autos and cabs.

4 What are the hours of MumbaiWood 2024?

Exhibition Timings:

5 Can I buy product samples or exhibits and take them from the exhibition?

No, you cannot buy product samples or exhibits at the exhibition as per ITPO (India Trade Promotion Organisation) guidelines. However, you are most welcome to pre-book or place an order at the exhibition.

6 Are there any events or activities taking place during the exhibition?

Yes, there will be B2B forums / seminars during MumbaiWood. Please visit the website closer to the exhibition for detailed information.

7 Are children allowed to visit the exhibition?

No. As MumbaiWood is a trade event, no one under 18 years of age will be allowed to enter the exhibition

8 How do I register to visit?

All trade visitors can spot register at any of the registration counters during their visit to the show. Trade visitors can also pre-register online.

9 Can I register onsite?

Yes, you are able to register for MumbaiWood on-site; though we strongly encourage you to register online to avoid long waiting queues. Click on the visitor registration to register for the show.

10 How can I organise travel and accommodation?

11 Is there parking at BEC?

You can find an ample parking area at the venue.

12 Are there places to eat at BEC and in the exhibit halls?

A multi-cuisine food court will be operational at BEC during MumbaiWood 2024. The fast-food outlets will be available in the Food Court area, located in different areas inside BEC and will be highlighted with direction signages. In addition, dry snack bars will operate from Exhibition Halls. Bottled drinking water will be available from food counters.

13 What if I need medical assistance?

First Aid room with medical assistance including doctor and ambulance, in case of emergency, will be available at BEC during the fair period, including pre & post exhibition period.
